My
name is Kim. I have been smocking for over 14 years. I learned
to smock when one of my sisters was pregnant and have been smocking for
my nieces and nephews since. I have done juried craft shows in the
past, however, due to time constraints, I am not doing them anymore.
I have sewn for national magazines, but really enjoy seeing the finished
product on the little person it was chosen for. I take a great deal
of pride in my work and hope you will enjoy your finished product or kit.
My dresses are constructed for everyday use. They are sewn with quality
fabric and attention to detail. My niece's dresses have been handed
down and are now being worn for the fourth time and still retain the beauty
of when they were new. These dresses are regularly worn to school
and church and washed and dried by machine. If you choose a special
occasion dress, of course extra care and handling will be needed.
