Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
|The Field Bazaar was written
in 1896 as a fund raiser for Edinburgh University, which was Sir Arthur
Conan Doyle's Alma Mater. It was published in THE STUDENT, the Edinburgh
University Undergraduate Magazine and reprinted by Atheneum Press in 1934.
The story was re-published once more in 1947 by the Baker Street Irregulars
in pamphlet form.
The Atheneum Press version is listed as Number Thirty-nine in Otto Penzler's 100 Indespensibles in Sherlock Holmes.
